What is a Glucometer?

A Glucometer (or Glucose Meter) is a key ingredient in the fight a person with Diabetes faces. This device allows a diabetic person to test their blood sugars in their homes, at the beach or anywhere they may be and see whether their blood sugars are on the high side or low side. Without this, they would be left guessing what levels their sugars are and may overeat causing sugar to skyrocket to extremely high values.

Lancet Device (to lunge the lancet to prick the finger)
Lancets (actual needle to prick the finger)
Test Strips (measure from the blood what the levels are at)
